The show ran from 2003 to 2015 and\nalso introduced us to a pre-Oscar winning Olivia Coleman as Mark\u2019s colleague\nand on-again, off-again love interest, Sophie. A bit of a sleeper hit, in 2019\nPeep Show won the accolade of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/comedy\/peep-show-watch-stream-netflix\/\">13<sup>th<\/sup> best British sitcom of\nall time<\/a> and continues\nto be broadcast on streaming platforms such as All4, Netflix and Amazon Prime\nVideo. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The friends and\nself-proclaimed \u2018<em>El Dude brothers<\/em>\u2019 live in the fictional Apollo House in\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.yopa.co.uk\/homeowners-hub\/whats-it-like-to-live-in-croydon\/\">Croydon<\/a>, South London. Whilst there is a\ncommercial office building called Apollo House in Croydon which houses the Home\nOffice\u2019s UK Visas and Immigration headquarters and is said to be named after\nthe 1969 Apollo 11 moon landings, the fictional Apollo House of Peep Show fame\nwas initially filmed at Zodiac House, a block of flats half a mile away in West\nCroydon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!4v1653989647003!6m8!1m7!1s-FdtTbhYKWIbv4NGaZjFPA!2m2!1d51.38199397505792!2d-0.106250741911768!3f242.93474955403244!4f11.17170803885358!5f0.7820865974627469\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" style=\"border:0;\" allowfullscreen=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Peep Show was\nfilmed on location in a flat in Zodiac House for the first two seasons from\n2003 to 2004 and from season 3 onwards filming took place in a recreated flat\nin a former carpet warehouse in Neasden, Northwest London and in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.westlondonfilmstudios.com\/\">West\nLondon Film Studios<\/a>\ncomplex in Hayes, Middlesex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When we first\nencountered Mark and his free-loading flatmate Jeremy in 2003, Mark\u2019s flat in\nZodiac House would have cost him in the region of \u00a360,000 &#8211; \u00a390,000. Today,\nZoopla is currently advertising a two-bedroom flat in the building for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zoopla.co.uk\/for-sale\/details\/57580942\/\">\u00a3220,000<\/a> on a leasehold basis, although this is still\ngood value in comparison to the local area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Properties in Croydon\nhave achieved an average sale price of \u00a3406,804 over the last year according to\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rightmove.co.uk\/house-prices\/croydon.html\">Rightmove<\/a>, with flats such as the one where the El\nDude brothers lived selling for around \u00a3278,000. Significantly more affordable\nthan the South London average of \u00a3433,593 though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today,\nadmittedly, Zodiac House is looking a little worse for wear and the surrounding\ncommercial premises, Zodiac Court, is largely vacant. However, in 2021 Croydon\nCouncil introduced plans for the <a href=\"https:\/\/democracy.croydon.gov.uk\/documents\/s29856\/Item%205.1%20Zodiac%20Court%20London%20Road%20Croydon.pdf\">phased redevelopment<\/a> of both Zodiac House and Zodiac Court\nfor both residential and commercial purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, if\nyou wanted to buy a similar property in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rightmove.co.uk\/house-prices\/neasden.html\">Neasden<\/a>, home of the El Dude brothers from season\n3 onwards, you would need slightly deeper pockets. Properties of a similar size\nsold for \u00a3331,120 on average over the last 12 months.
