Arbroath\nis a town in Central Scotland with a population of around 24,000. It is the\nlargest town in Angus and is located 45 miles from the city of Aberdeen and 16\nmiles from Dundee. Its coastal position affords it a strong connection with the\nfishing industry, and the town is famous for its \u2018smokies\u2019 (smoked haddock). The\ntown is popular with families thanks to a plethora of attractions and events\nand has a booming local tourist and hospitality industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having a train station and a reliable local bus network ensures\nthat the town of Arbroath is well connected to the surrounding area and the\nrest of Scotland. The town is also located within easy reach of the A92 and A90. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arbroath is popular with those looking to live in a coastal\nsetting whilst also being within easy reach of the amenities and job\nopportunities offered by nearby Dundee. The journey time to Dundee is half an hour,\nand the journey to Aberdeen takes just over an hour. Arbroath has a bus network that makes transit around the town easy\nand efficient. There are also many bus services that serve the rural areas surrounding\nthe town. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The A92 passes across the coastal edge of the town and runs south\nto Dundee and north to Aberdeen. From Dundee the A90 offers access to the M90.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The school also has a nursery class for\npre-school aged children. Ladyloan School<\/a> offers education for\nboys and girls aged 3-12 and is also popular with families in the local area.
