Located just 12 miles from the heart of London, Walthamstow has Chingford to its north, Woodford and Epping Forest to its east, Leytonstone and Leyton to its south and Tottenham and Lea Valley to its west.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well connected by London buses to the wider Greater London area, Walthamstow is on a number of arterial routes including the A406, A12, A104, A112, A1006 and A503. These roads connect the area to the major M4, M1 and M11 motorways as well as London City Airport and Stansted Airport who fly to numerous domestic and international destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Walthamstow\u2019s location at the end of the Victoria Line means a direct journey right into the middle of the West End for easy day trips and commuting alike. There are also underground trains that take travellers to Liverpool Street Station from St James Street and Walthamstow Central.
