The city is an easy 20 to 30-minute commute by train, and there are also regular Overground trains from Hackney Downs to Liverpool Street. If you are venturing further afield, London City Airport is 25 minutes by train from Hackney Central or just over an hour on the bus, whilst Heathrow Airport is an hour and a half from Hackney Central train station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are 48 daily<a href=\"https:\/\/tfl.gov.uk\/info-for\/boroughs\/hackney\"> bus routes<\/a> in Hackney and regular coaches travel to Heathrow Airport every day. Those with a car can take the 20mph roads through the borough, although more people cycle than drive in Hackney in an effort to reduce congestion and pollution.
