A woman selling her family home in Greater Manchester has won our nationwide “Win a Mortgage” competition!
Julie Acourt, who grew up in the property in Radcliffe, won £10,000.
The competition, which ran from August to October was open to homeowners who instructed Yopa to sell their property. Using calculations based on the UK’s average mortgage, this equated to a prize fund of £10,000.
Julie, who now lives in Chichester in West Sussex, said of the win: “I was totally surprised when my estate agent Brett telephoned me. If it hadn’t been his trusted voice telling me I’d just won £10,000, I would never have believed it!”
Brett Howarth, Local Yopa Agent for Bolton, Bury and Radcliffe: “I’m so pleased I was able to make Julie’s year with that phone call. It’s been a pleasure working with her to sell the property, which is the perfect home for a first-time buyer or young couple just starting out.”
Julie is planning on splitting her win a few ways: “I’m sharing the win with my two sons, their wives and my grandchildren, as well as my two soon-to-be stepchildren. My fiance Richard and I will use whatever’s left to spoil ourselves a little and put towards our wedding next year.”
If you’re interested in booking a viewing of Julie’s property, contact Brett directly on 07532165892. Evening and Sunday viewings available.
